Physician-directed hormone therapy with ongoing lab monitoring. Nothing is prescribed unless a licensed physician determines it is appropriate for you.
Testosterone cypionate, an injectable form of the body's primary androgen hormone. Testosterone therapy replaces a hormone rather than stimulating your own production.
Given by injection on a schedule your physician sets, with lab work before starting and at intervals afterwards. It is a controlled substance and is prescribed only after an individual evaluation.
Raise any history of prostate or breast cancer, heart disease, sleep apnoea, blood clots, or a raised red-blood-cell count, and tell your physician if you may want children — testosterone therapy can reduce fertility.
Educational information only. It is not medical advice and does not describe results you should expect. A licensed physician decides what, if anything, is appropriate for you.
For your consultation
Saving a treatment asks your physician to consider it during your review. It is not an order, a purchase, or a guarantee of prescription — your physician reviews your history and decides what, if anything, is appropriate. Not everyone will qualify.
